Covering basic animation concepts and stop motion animation techniques, the workshop is tailor-made for participants who are new to stop motion animation. The workshop not only teaches traditional production methods of animation, but also integrates computer animation technology, stimulating new ideas to make animation more interesting! Starting from zero, Paperbox will explain the full production process, from brainstorming ideas, preparing puppets and other models, photograph taking to computer post-production. Through exploration, experiment and practice, it guides participants into the wonderful world of animation!
Note: Participants can bring their figurines/toys to class for shooting. The content of each workshops under the same titles are the same.
Based in Hong Kong, Paperbox Creations is founded by a group of local creators, Kwok Man-ho, Lam Ho-tak and Tommy Ng, who have great passion in animation and CG production, in 2013. They graduated from the School of Creative Media, City University of Hong Kong, majoring in Animation in 2013. Paperbox insists in creating original animation and provides professional production and media services, including 3D animation, 2D animation, advertising, motion graphic, graphic design, pre-production, post-production, to clients in Hong Kong, Mainland China and worldwide. Members of Paperbox have received numerous awards in local and international film festivals. Paperbox hopes to make every piece of their works perfect.
