ABOUT CREATIVE EXPRESS
The Creative Express Programme is a community outreach programme offered by the School of Creative Media (SCM), City University of Hong Kong. This year, the first-of-its-kind, SCM reaches out to the local teenagers. SCM makes the arts accessible to them by offering a variety of free workshops on weekends from April to June 2017.
This is a great opportunity for artistic teenagers to put their creative hats on! These introductory workshops target secondary school Form 3 to 5 students who have a keen interest in creative media. The teaching artists who are SCM alumni working in the local creative industry will develop cross-disciplinary workshops for this group of young people and will share their thoughts and experiences from different perspectives. The workshops will be delivered in a fun and interactive way in the Run Run Shaw Creative Media Centre's first class facilities.
The Creative Express Programme aims to inspire and empower the youth to discover and express their boundless imagination, innate creativity and potential innovation through multi-media and interactive means. The Programme will conclude with a sharing session that will showcase the creative talent of the participants.
