The course is divided into two parts: online identity and surveillance in the digital age. It aims at facilitating students to differentiate their online and real life identity and increase their awareness of how they portray themselves in social media. It also provides an overview of how social media shapes our perception and examines how people's privacy is being infringed in the digital world.
